I'm not up for diving Rappel from shore, but it does seem to offer the possibility of a Grand Adventure. Here are a couple of interesting links (if you haven't found them already.)

Holy crap! Is that as high as it looks? I've only done Rappel once, and that was by boat.

And a bigger question - is he part mountain goat, or is he planning a long swim to get out???
 
It's about 65' of rock face. (I read that on the Carib Inn link)^

I have heard you can get out at Bloodlet (next site south) but:
Though not recommended, this site can be reached from shore, but it's tricky and sometimes painful, thus the name Bloodlet!
