I haven't bothered to try any of the lakes yet this year as i've heard viz is horrific.

It has been a while since i've heard anyting. Is anyone able to give me an update on conditons at Elmer Thomas, Tenkiller, and Murray?

Also, anyone have a day off on tuesday and want to make a couple dives?

Is there good public access (shore entry) for ET or do you need a boat to get to some clear water. I think I'll try to get the wife to loaded up and head that way this weekend or next.

Lake Murray is actually getting better. I tested a new camera on friday and the vis was about 8 to 10 feet. The pics are posted on Scuba j's myspace page. Just driving around the lake you can see the sand bars reaching way out into the water.

Both the dam and the boat ramp have easy shore entries/exits. The boat ramp even has some nice shade and toilet facilities (primitive).
