So I got my own underwater adding machine this weekend.
The Mosquito.
It seems really groovy and I'm starting to get the hang of the zillion possible button combinations. And I damn sure can't wait to get it underwater next weekend (I keep feeling the compulsion to fill the sink here at the office with water and just stick my arm in up to the elbow... you know, just to practice).
My one concern is that it seems that the digital readout is aimed at an odd angle. If you look at the readout dead-on the digits seem faded and uneven, like a few bars on the readout are brighter than others. If, however, you look at it from a slight angle, maybe 10 or 15 degrees "up" into the display (which is, admittedly, a more natural view than from 90 degrees into the plane of the display) the numbers are crisp, clear, and beautiful.
The computer reports the battery fully charged, and there is no other defect I've seen. Anyone else seen this peculiar problem?
