about 20" long, shaped like a Jack,
rounded, and has a snout/mouth
that looks like a piranna [sp?]. By
that I mean it's blunt and rounded.

It lives on Paradise Reef in Cozumel
and bit me on the finger.

What is it?

PS-it wasn't schooled..by itself
near the bottom

Sounds like a DIR fish...you weren't diving a long hose, were you?

Not true ... not true! As i recall triggerfish tend to protect a expanding cone directly above them.

Horizontal divers present a greater surface area of target when entering the triggers cone of death.

Be afraid, be very, very afraid O-ring!

information, sympathy and understanding
and this is what he gets!

I could have been killed, you know! Well at
least nibbled to death! He drew blood out
of my pinky.;-0
