We just added another diver to our little group....the other Floyd.

Anyone get any recent water temp info? I'm trying to decide if just the lycra skinsuit will be OK or do I need to take the 3/2 full.

Yesterday was my first dives. Did Palancar Caves and San Francisco. My dive computer said 80 on both dives. Currents were slow and vis great on both dives. Last 2 days have been partly cloudy and windy in the afternoon with a stray shower. Seas calm for my morning dives. Getting ready for my second day of diving - 6 am here. Seas flat, wind calm and partly cloudy. BigFloyd - I use my 3/2 and was confortable yesterday. It suits me since I'll be diving for more than 9 days.

Ok, so I am brand new to this forum so nobody knows me, but I will be travelling solo to SCC May 5th though 12th.

I am a re-beginner having been out of diving for about 12 years, so I will be taking it slow. Dive buddies? Dinner buddies? Drinking buddies?

My first dive buddy was named Floyd.

I wear my 3mil at this time of year. I used to just wear a .5mil skin, but by the end of the week would start experiencing chills.
the 3mil has been much more comfortable.
