Sitting watching show that brought back a hidden desire.

Have you ever wanted to put on a seven mil suit. grab a deep breath and a ton of weight and jump into the pool. Sink to the bottom release the weights and kick like dickins and see if you could breach like a porpoise and clear the hoop on the roof of the pool. How deep do you think you would have to start from to build enough speed?

I must be tired.

...or you could get a scooter & yank the battery out, rig it up to a series of 48v batteries poolside to "supercharge" it and try it that way...

Close drysuit dump valve. Hold onto drain grating or the like on pool bottom. Have scuba unit on bottom of the pool for air. Fully inflate drysuit and let go...

No, because the air would burp out the seals.

Instead, take your jon line and tether yourself to the grate. Then inflater your BWOD to their full 100lbs lift capacity, take out that 13" dive knife and cut the line.

Don't forget to exhale on the way up!

THIS IS ONLY A JOKE! PLEASE DO NOT RUN WITH SHARP OBJECTS OR TRY THIS AT HOME!!

I did try it today, but with a 3/2 surfsuit
in skin gear I swam to 13 ft, ditched the weight belt, and pushed off the bottom. I flew out of the water at least to my waist before crashing back down. it was so fun I did it again.

next time I'll take my 7 mil suit

I put on a 7mm wet suit, slide into my drysuit and duct tape all the seals good and tight. I hot wire my scooter and put in six 24 volt truck batterys. grabb a bunch of weight and my lift bag and jump into water with the scuba gear. At the bottom I lay the gear down, Tie off the lift bag and inflate it fully. Fully inflate my dry suit Trigger the scooter and cut the line Exhaling all the way.

Yep I bet that will do it. Thanks guys!

PS Hey Cave Diver This kind of gives new meaning to your signature line HUH?

The best way to find the solution is to go out and dive the problem.
