OP is from Jersey (http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=198026)

so i figured we dont need to give him any more advise on how the LDS owner can... well you know :eyebrow:

Haha, fair enough. I was just curious where he was, if he happened to be local to me, I know one exception Oceanic tech with tons of experience with Omega's. I'm sure he can find an LDS willing to service his gear for him, that won't be as big of a jerk.

Before you buy from scuba.com, contact Larry at Scubatoys.com. He gives Scubaboard members a 10% discount and he's posts here on SB you can ask him questions or send him a PM (click here). I would be surprised if he couldn't beat scuba.com prices on a package and definitely their attitude.

John

does he cover all the stuff with warranty's and what not?

Yes Scubatoys is a fully authorized dealer.

It is a nice package. I second contacting scubatoys.com. My only concern (and I cannot answer this, the wiser members of this board can) is how will your package hold up to cold water diving? Is the first stage prone to free flow in the temps you dive in and around New Jersey? Is this even a concern for you? I know I dive primarily cold water sites and I want my gear to be set up for that environment.

Just my 2 psi.

Look in the whine and cheese and see the thread about scuba.com Then go to Scuba Toys. You can't go wrong with Scuba Toys but you can go wrong with Scuba.com.Also Scuba Toys is authorized with everything they sell and you get a 10% discount.

That first stage is fantastic in cold water. I use one on my doubles up here in Canada. My dive buddy for our ice dive last year used that first stage on our ice dive as well. No concerns about that reg in cold water.
