I'll be in the houston area from march 2-5 and want to know if it is worth the time and money to charter an oil rig dive out of Galveston?

March weather is a little unpredictable, leave the decision until a little closer to your trip. You can contact me at Sport Divers 281-338-1611 for more information.
I'll be out of town until next thursday

thanks for the reply i'll be in touch next weekend. i'm trying to plan a surprise trip for my husband who is a dive instructor in PA. Thought this would be something different. He also does spear fishing .Is this a possibility?

Don't think of it....(1) the weather &(2) the cost-- ie charter?? a boat out of Galveston....you'd be better off thinking of the Flower Gardens on the Fling...I have a 29' private boat & don't think about going out till a day or 2 before ie must watch the weather for (hopefully) good seas.....it can be a buggar out ther in the fall, winter, & spring.....good luck............
