I've seen guys with the inner tube wrap around their latches, and always thought it was overkill if you had the locking latches. I think I'll rethink my thinking.... :D
Locking latches don't always stay locked ... I found this out the hard (and expensive) way ...

My new can light is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I appreciate your post, and will be putting an inner-tube band on the can first thing.

Well, I did two dives today with buddies 10w, which was very nice of him to loan me.

But I'll need my 25w back and working by a week from Friday! ;)
That 10w HID is getting a lot of diving in lately. So far there are three divers who might need to borrow a week from Friday. :D

When I called Barry, he was waiting for my call, 'cause he saw this thread!

I sent him the light head, and I hope to convince him on Monday to quick-ship it with new battery back so I have it on Thursday, so I can bring it on Friday. :D

EDIT: Barry just called. Replacing switch & light. Will ship back today. I'll have it Wednesday!

Mine arrived at 10am this morning, even though Barry put the wrong address again, even after a reminder email. Several calls to UPS to correct, but I got it! Wohoo!!!

Where's EX2's light??

I'm noticing a trend here ... same thing happened to me.

On the other hand, the overall customer service experience makes it easy to be forgiving ... :D
