In as few words as possible: wicked windy.
Forecasted 10-15 kts, W/NW. More like 20-25, N/NE. We got in around 9 am and did okay as the surge was not too bad. A few keepers around and numerous shorts. While contemplating a second tank observed a group of divers (8 or so, is that a pod or a school?) getting pushed towards a rocky outcrop to the South. They did an abrupt about face and got back to safer water and headed in. We went down and helped them get their fins off as they crawled ashore. Turned out to be a beginner's class:11:! Conditions were more suitable for advanced or beyond so I hope it was not too negative an experience. At least they all made it ashore okay. Wind had continued to pick up so we nixed the second dive afterall.
