Hi Peoples,

I have been looking through the mountains of information on the port sizes of the Apeks regs. There is one answer that I couldn't find though.

I am looking at buying the DS4 ATX50, ATX40 occy package from DiveInn.com. Now the question I have is this: what is the off the shelf port size for the hose that comes with the ATX50 second stage and ATX40 occy? I know the DS4 has no 1/2" ports, so if the two second stage hoses are not 3/8" it means I will have to buy adapters, right?

Thanks muchly.

I recently swapped the original Apex primary hose on my atx50 for a 7'. I had to use a reducer. The octo has a 3/8 though, no adapter needed.

Just get new hoses from a LDS if they don't match. On a DS4, all the LP ports are 3/8". If the hose for your second stage doesn't match up (although it should if you're getting it as a package) then just get a 3/8" hose.

as mentioned in the other thread, when you buy an ATX50 by itself off the shelf, it does not come with a hose.
As for the octo, it comes with a 3/8' hose.
