That is a great video...you mind sharing any pictures? I am looking to buy a camera and ultimately undecided on model. If not, thanks for the snipit anyhow.

Hi Ross,

Here are a few more from my recent trip. I am a rook at this game, still got lots to learn and lots of equipment to buy...<g> I found this sea horse on a night dive in front of the hotel... same dive found a spotted eel.

I did this collage to send back to the dive shop as thanks for great service...

I have an older canon elph, I almost bought the S70 for this trip, bought a YS90 strobe instead... I think it is overkill for my application, I had it dialed all the way down and then it was manageable... my pics definitely got better as the week progressed.

wow, how lucky... i've never seen an octopus diving

that's a great video... but... hmmm.... you know, it's best if you don't poke
them and stuff (not to be critical)

Andy, that was the divemaster doing the poking...... It was like it was used to it, it would not run off, and it was more touching to feel texture than poking....

oh, i didn't want to sound critical or nothing... but i just prefer to leave the critters
alone unless they come to me (like manatees)

cute vid, but Andys right, the little guy didnt like being touched. We have a lot of octopus here, and the little guys come out at night, they are fun to play with and will crawl up your arm etc. Very curious animals.
