Anyone else having difficulty orally inflating BCD with Octo Z? I bought a new zeagle stiletto with Octo Z. Used it to complete Rescue Diver course where different out of air scenarios required oral inflate procedures. However. The Octo Z just would not orally inflate the BC. All the instructors tried it too and no one could get it to work. You would push the oval button blow in and the air would just purge out of the small round diaphragm valve on the bottom of the Octo Z. The air would not blow into the Bc. Took it off and you can see that when pushing the oval button it pushes a spring tensioned rubber plunger that is supposed to cover the internal orifice of the lower diaphragm valve so the air bypasses this valve and enters the BC. But the rubber plunger just does not cover or seal properly thereby letting the air leak out of the diaphragm valve. Sent it back to the Zeagle dealer. They could not get it to work either. They sent me a new one but same problem. It is either a design flaw or a batch of them are faulty. Kind of dangerous.
