Octo holders and such

I use a snap bolt with a loop of bungee attached. It's basically free since I already have the snap bolts and the bungee on hand.

There are also octo holders that are similar to the snorkel keepers but have one square end instead of 2 round ends. I'm on my 4th try for an octo holder that won't let the octo rip out during a giant stride entry, and this is the one that so far is working the best.
that's the type that works best for me too.

Haven't had any problems so far using this.

The Dive Rite Octo holder is the best, most simple, one i've found. Its less than 5 bucks, so I keep an extra one just in case.
And I third that. The octo stays put through all sorts of entries, and it deploys easily.

Only problem is it takes a bit of dexterity to roll the bungee back over the mouthpiece after you do an OOA drill.
