Swankenstein, I asked Jacques Marc about this wreck of yours when I first read about it on one of your posts on a local forum at the end of September. This was his response:

Off hand I can’t remember the vessels name.
It was a live aboard vessel that burned.
It was towed out to its current location and sunk the 1990’s.​

Not much help, I know, but hopefully it will narrow down your research.

Wonder if Fred Rogers is still around; anyone know?

As far as I know he is still alive, although quite elderly now, and living in Qualicum/Parksville. I've never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I sure would love too. His accomplishments in BC wreck diving are second to none.

I know this is an old thread, but with time comes technology. If you have an iphone, there is an app called navionics marine bc. It is the most up to date electronic charts of all of bc. In fact every time i frequent your web page Mark I check to see what the app has to offer for the site as well. BTW Thanks for the useful site.

An Iphone? I haven't even gotten around to getting a regular cellphone yet. I still photocopy my charts at the library. I don't know if I'm a Luddite or just cheap.
