Although there's not much fish life here compared to many other local spots, the colourful invertebrates and "wild" feeling more than make up for it. I wish I could go back this weekend, but there's a wind warning for Sat. and Sun.

The amount of invertebrates reminds me of the North Island. You got yourself a real gem Mark. Wish I was a bit closer.

How long is the drive from the ferry terminal?

It's about a 45-minute drive from downtown Victoria. Maybe a bit less. If you go during rush-hour (3:30-6:00 pm) the drive will be much longer.
