I am currently rocking Vipers (open heel) but I'm wondering if its time for a change and if I could have some recommendations.

These are the only fins I've ever worn on my 70 or so dives, so I know nothing else. Most of my diving is wet suit tropical and so I want something that's travel friendly.

I've never given it too much thought and have generally been pleased but I'm thinking of changing for two reasons:

1. I am not sure if they are that good in a current. Rarely a concern for me, but I did once get caught in a current and had to end my dive, though I've a feeling something else was off with my trim that day as I just felt wrong all round.

2. I find the strap fiddly. But I understand the strap can be changed for a spring strap so this really is a minor concern.

Are there any other fins I should consider instead?
