Oceanic Pro Plus 2 Cable

We have the pro plus 2 computer and have been trying to download from the dive computer to our computer, however, the connection cable prongs have slipped inside the cable. Which will not allow us to connect. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?? Have emailed oceanic, but have not heard back yet.

These USB cables are made a little strange, at best.

I found a small piece of electrical tape holds it in. Also be careful not to bed the pins.

Pins are not bent, just have fallen inside the cable. You just put ele tape to hold in place while doing the download??

Yes with the electrical tape. Are the pins making contact to the silver tabs on the ProPlus?

No, the pins are not making contact, the pins fell inside the cable. Only one pin is still out. However, once I get this fixed, the black ele tape is a good idea. As this connection is NOT ideal for a USB cord.
