Hello, I have had a problem and it seems as if it is just me in the whole wide world.
I bought an Oceanic OCi dive computer and it is really great and I enjoyed using it on dives.
One problem though. On dive 6 it, or I, seemed to lose the sampled data stored for download to the PC and I got the message, “Dive Details is not available for dive with depth<=0”.
After some toing and froing I was given a replacement OCi.
With the second replacement unit (brand new) the same thing happened after the very first dive. Did two dives that day and the data is bad / not available / whatever. So is it just me ?!

No it not just you. It happened on all their computers but mostly and repeatedly with the watch computers. What is you sampling rate set at?

I also have an OCi, what does the sample rate have to do with it? I initially had problems getting it sync with my laptop as well.

It might have to do with the amount of memory available to save the data.

I have 2 Oceanic computers one of them is an OC1. I have the sample rate set to 30 seconds and have never had a problem.

I encountered the out of memory condition after I stopped trying to download data because of the data corruption.
The sampling rate was set to 2 seconds which allows for something more than 150 minutes. We were doing 2 dives a day, dive time around 100 - 120 minutes dor the day, and downloading dives each evening.

More for information than anything. It happens on all the sampling rate but it seems to happen more often with the faster sampling rate then the slower ones. Copy your DAT file and send it to oceanic who will forward it to the software team.
