Hi Folks
My question is very simple, I will need a brand new BC, I am looking for a Oceanic brand.
Some to know this BC???

I have it and like it a lot. I use it when DMing classes. It's streamlined and not nearly as bulky as a jacket style BC. You don't get the squeeze around the waist a jacket can give since it's back inflate. The weight system you need to be very sure you secure the clips in tight. I've had a time or two I thought I had them secure and they weren't.

The BC has several steel D rings to clip off anything you need to carry. I often sling a pony bottle like a stage on the BC without trouble.

Negatives would be a lack of pockets if you need them. It has one pocket that rolls out but isn't really easily accessed. The other thing, which is my complaint about nearly all BCs, is that it isn't long enough between the waist and the shoulders. I'm a tall guy and the BC tends to ride up. There is no way to adjust this since the back of the BC isn't long enough.

If you want the ability to have integrated weights and a streamlined BC I think this is a great BC.

I have an Excursion as well and really like it. I agree with everything Brian mentioned about it. It replaced my jacket-style Scuba Pro BC and is much more comfortable. The D rings work really well. Oceanic makes the Spinner knife which screws into the grommets on the bottom of the BC. It has a good amount of lift, 40LBS I believe, and trims out really well with the steel 130 I dive with.

I have the little brother, the Islander, but I've worn the Excursion multiple times in the store I work in (Oceanic dealer). It's a very comfortable BC, and will be my next investment in a BC (can't have enough D-rings, which my Islander unfortunately doesn't have!). I love both of 'em, and would most certainly say GET IT!

Hello again Folks
Now I am updating my question, after reading you last comments I have the following question:

Scubapro Knighthawk Or Oceanic Excursion???
All the best

I'm not a fan of SP stuff, and I REALLY like Oceanic's gear, so my choice still lies with the Excursion.

I also think you will not go wrong with the Oceanic product. I have the Probe LX, obviously the jacket style and love it. I love the D-Rings and the weight system Oceanic has on their Bc's.
Had to throw my two pennies.

I like both models and brands. The Knighthawk and Excursion seem like comparing apples to apples to me. If the lack of pockets on the Excursion doesn't matter to you, I would see what you can get the better deal on.

I LOVE my excursion and have had some people even upgrade from the Knighthawk to the excursion and say its lot more comfortable. I cant tell you from personal experience, but I really do love mine....I even put a whole in it and dove it for a week and my bouyancy was even better....go figure ;) its patched now and better than ever

Another plug here... I love my excursion.
I wish there were more pockets, but not a biggie since it has lots of places to attach stuff.

very comfortable.
