I know this is a rather long shot, but I am looking to buy a DIN conversion kit.

Looking to convert my Yoke to Din. Reasonable offers? Need an Oceanic one for 1999 and later regs.
 
I know a yolk to din conversion kit can be bought on Amazon for about $30 but I have a divemaster friend who wanted to do this on his Atomic and was told it absolutely wouldnt work by various sources. Just be careful if you buy an adapter as the reason sounded like something to do with safety. I would bet others here could chime in would more detail.
