I am looking at buyting either the Oceanic Delta 4.1 or Neo and both come with FXD-10 1st stage. Does anyone have a comparison between the two? I see good things here about the Delta 4.1 but hardly anything about the Neo. The main difference I see is the Neo 2nd stage does not have an adjustment knob which really concerns me.

My current reg has an adjustment knob and I feel it really makes a difference especially for current and deeper dives. I am wondering why Oceanic does not offer this reg with the adjustment knob. Does the Neo have some type of built in adjustment or technology?

Thanks

Hi medgl01,

One quick thing to mention. Oceanic does offer the Neo with an adjustment knob. It's called the EOS. The reason you don't hear much about it, is because the Neo is a recently added second stage. My suggestion is to consider the Delta 4.1 with an Alpha 8 octo. You will be quite happy with that setup, it is a terrific cold water reg, and breathes brilliantly at any depth.

Cheers,
Jim
