Treasure found. I have 2 brand new Oceanic Data Masks. These units retail for $1099.00 each. My treasure find becomes a huge savings for you. I will sell each unit for $650 or both units for $1099. Check out the link below for additional Info

The how is personal. When was this week, and again the where is my business. They are new and have never been used. I am selling them for a friend. I can provide you with serial numbers if you so require.

Actually those are all valid questions when buying such an expensive item. From a warranty standpoint the buyer should have all of that info. I'd be very leery of this deal from a new sb user. You should read more posts selling here before taking that attitude. Trust is a big deal with buyers and sellers here.

The seller certainly has his right to privacy.
And I have the right not to touch this deal with a ten foot pole...

Well Jim L. I meant no offense. As I am not an authorized Oceanic Dealer there would be no warranty available on these two units. If people are looking for units with a warranty of any kind I suggest they go to their local SCUBA shop and pay the suggested retail price of $1099. That said I have read many posts from SCUBA board, none from the for sale forum. I am more than willing to give the serial numbers of these two units to whomever wants them via PM.

bilsant you are exactly correct. If people are persons are looking for warranty they need to go support their local SCUBA shop.

My concern wouldn't be the warranty, when the price is that good there is room to pay for repairs if there is a need for it.

However if the units are stolen, then it is a different game altogether. I once had all my gear stolen from my house, some of it brand new. never recovered anything, but I made sure to place a curse on all of it. Fins would only swim to the bottom, 1st stages would never adjust correctly, masks would never seal to any face, zippers would froze open, and so on. I like to think that over the years, some of the "undeserving" accidents I've read about was direct result of that.

So the last thing I would ever want to do is to buy hot gear, regardless of how good of a deal it may be.
