Does anyone know how many dump valves this BC has? According to the Oceanic web site, the only dump is on the inflator/deflator hose, but some retailers are saying there is a right shoulder dump as well as a lower dump. Any info from owners would be appreciated. Thanks,
Greg

I have a Oceanic Chute 3 and it has a lower right rear dump inm addition to the over the shoulder dump. For what it's worth, I love my BCD. Probably the most comfortable I have ever owned. I have owned a Oceanic Probe ( 1998-1999), a DUI (1999-2002), the Mares Hub Avante Garde (2002-2004), the Tusa Cubic Pro 3 (2004-2005), and now the Oceanic Chute 2005-?.

In addition to the inflator hose dump, mine has a lower dump on the right side.

Thanks guys. I was considering this one or a Sequest Balance. The Oceanic can be had for about half the price!

I would take an Oceanic over a Seaquest anyday. Of course getting the right fit for you is most important. I have worked at a dive shop that rented both Seaquest and Oceanic equipment and the Oceanic stuff always seemed to hold up better. The seams were stitched better and the designs consistently were well thought out and efficient.
