Ocean Vendors Kevlar vs. Bare XCD2

Hey everyone, I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but here s a question regarding the two suits. The Ocean Vendors suit is a Kevlar covered suit, that my instructor likes very well, as he has been diving it for the last 6 years, and loves it. However, on the reverse, I have talked to several divers about the XCD2 and crushed neoprene and they all say neoprene is the way to go. My instructor says that the weighting requirements would be to great with the neoprene than the kevlar Ocean Vendors suit. I would like to know what you all think of the two suits.
