Nice job. Where did you get the neoprene? I was planning to use some to balance my housing.
 
A dive buddy had some kicking around. Try your LDS. You can also buy it on-line. I found some li nks doing a web search and there are also some links on this board - I think in the DIY forum.
 
When do you expect to try it at depth in salt water? Most say the neoprene will lose its buoyancy at depth, so it will be interesting to hear your findings.

If it is positive in FW then it is going to be more positive in salt.

I use pool noodles on mine and they work great to 100'. They compress some but not like neoprene.
 
crpntr133, I realize that they will be more buoyant in salt water, but that should even out at depth. I would prefer that the system floats at the surface, which makes it much easier to deal with in waves/surge.
 
That neoprene is going to compress a lot and be near useless under 10m. I've had better luck with pool noodles, but then I use UCLS type arms and not flexible locline.
