Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well.

I’m a PADI OWSI and I’m doing an MSc in International Marine Science.

My dissertation is on ‘Why Divers Dive – an exploration into how to encourage diving for conservation’ and I would love it if some of you could help me. It should take less than five minutes and I (and hopefully the ocean!) would be really grateful.

Considering your doing this for a U.K. university, I’m mystified why you haven’t separated out recreation diving from commercial, i.e. PADI at el instructors who in the U.K. fall under the Diving At Work Regulations. I’m sure you’re academic seniors are aware of the distinction as your university had a dive club (there are special rules for universities).

Thank you, I am aware. This has been done this way deliberately.
