Come out to Shark's cove and dive, raise money for the American Cancer society, eat, play and maybe go home with a cool raffle prize.

This is the third annual for this event. last year over 100 divers registered, and there may have been many more. In past years our sponsors have really come through for us with cool raffle prizes include dive computers, regs, and all sorts of lesser items. This year Hawaiian Airlines and Jacks Diving Locker on the big island have donated airfare to Kona and a Manta Ray night dive. Very cool of them. GoPro is sponsoring this year with a camera, and some "you can't buy this" swag. We are expecting a pretty big event this year.

Oahu Dive for Life raised over $6K last year, putting it in the top 10 for donors in the Big Relay for Life event at Ala Moana Beach Park (Dive for Life is a more fun).

Create a team to participate, or come just come no team required, details at www.oahudiveforlife.com Raffle tickets for prizes at $20 each, but there is no cash accepted at the event (though you could donate online with your phone).

Island Divers puts on the event - with the permit, BBQ, collecting the prized from sponsors, but Hawaii Eco divers right next to Shark's cove is offering free air to participants! Thanks guys. All dive shops and dive tribes are welcome, so bring out your colors! shop colors or whatever. Everyone can agree that cancer sucks. Let's dive together for a good cause!

When does it start? Well, whenever, raffle is around 5pm, and parking of course will be nuts. We'll be feeding people lunch (donors) and generally just hanging out all day. Bring something to share if you want, or something to grill (we'll have 2). Set up will start around sunrise, but get there whenever you want, stay as long as you want. Oahu Dive for Life 2014.jpg
