So i'm setting up a set of doubles for use with trimix for my first classes, and the doubles are o2 clean and have o2 service air in them, and the regs are o2 clean, as for spg, and inflator hoses, do they need anything special or are the o-rings on them probably good to go?

Generally the only parts that have to be O2 clean would those that could be exposed to pure O2 during a mixing process (the tank and valves) unless you are thinking about mixtures in excess of 40 percent O2.

ok, so my normal bottles I can use normal gauges and what not, but on my O2 bottle I need to do what to my SPG? just viton o ring?

You shouldn't need to do anything different other than perhaps a viton o-ring.

Why viton? Why not EPDM? Or nitrile? (both of which are also accepted by a big azz agency as acceptable for O2 environments).

Have you used the spg on air that's not O2 clean? The spg is exposed to HP air, so if you're going to use it on an O2 bottle, you might want to either insure it's never been exposed to air with hydrocarbons in it or make sure it's brand new. There's no way to easily and effectively O2 clean spg's.

Ty Dive-aholic, I only have one spg for use on the doubles atm anyway, so I will use that for my doubles, and get the two new ones for the stage bottles, one being oxygen. Thanks alot.
