I bought second hand JJ which came with 2 diluent cylinders, valves and o rings. One of the cylinders got empty after few days, so I checked them and found there is a small gap between cylinder and valve exposing the o ring. Is that OK, or not? The gap is present on both cylinders and impossible to tighten more with hands.

The o ring pocket on the cylinder is 2.6-2.7mm. The o ring is 3.8-3.9mm thick.

Any recommendation on what to do? See two pics of lealing cylinder attached.

Thank you

some gap is normal - NOT seeing the O-ring.
Which manufacturer is the tank? I'm guessing Vítkovice

Matan.

seeing the o-ring extruded is not cool.

Change O Ring , standard oring is R19 (24.6 x 3.60) or AN19 ( 25 x 3;53) for the neck

I changed that as mentioned in the post above.

It is filled with the air now. I plan to send them for cleaning and pressure test. Most probably change them in the future or use them only for shallow air dives.
