Can someone out there point me towards an online guide for O-ring sizing? I'm looking for a recommended O-ring diameter for a given shaft size and groove dimensions.

Cheers
Nick

Go to http://www.mcmaster.com/

Do a product search on O-rings.

This will bring up an interactive part number selection guide.

If you select the “view catalog” icon it will take you to the catalog page that has a description of the o-ring material properties.

At the top of the chart is a link to catalog page 3180 that looks like “For information about O-ring sizes, see page 3180.” Follow that link for a description of standard sizes.

Hope this helps,

Mike
