hey all
Looking forward to replacing the elastic front strap (not the cummerbund) on my Triple-L Stratos BCD with regular webbing, a'la Marek K, and had a couple of questions:
1) Good source of 1 1/2" black webbing?
2) What kind of thread do you recommend for sewing the ends together with? Also, can a regular sewing machine do the job or should I take it to a tailor or someone with a commercial/heavy duty machine?
I have PMed Marek but thought I'd field it to everyone else as well. Thanks for any help yall can give me.
