Hi, it's just been confirmed that I will be in NYC all next week for work and possibly through the weekend. If I stay through the weekend, I would love to get some diving in. Are there any dive shops and boats that people recommend? I would probably have to rent everything but my reg and personal gear because it'd be fairly difficult to haul my gear with me.

I will be staying in Manhattan so I will need to figure out viable transportation to whatever boats.

try Jeannie 2 out of Brooklyn..You can take a subway (public transportation) to it and the crew can have tanks/weights there if you call ahead and reserve.
Jeannie 2 is a member of the Eastern Dive Boat Association(EDBA).They usually dive Saturday/Sunday and Wednesday nights.
