Well, I realize this is new to the Orca Bait forum, so posting Tweek #4 probably isn't meaning a lot.
There's a group of us who have adopted the name, Northwest Underwater Explorers. We're a DIR/UTD flavored group, and got together originally to try to do some exploration dives, looking for some new dive sites. We've done a few of those (you can see them on the nwunderwaterexplorers.com website) but we've also branched out to doing some midweek group dives. The purpose of these dives is to get together people who want to practice or learn some skills, and people who are curious about or interested in DIR/UTD diving. We also welcome people who want to come with their buddies and join us for some just plain low-key, fun diving.
At any rate, we're trying to do these every Tuesday, and we have done three and they have been great fun for the people who have attended. The next one is Tuesday night at Edmonds, planning to splash at 7 pm. Anyone is welcome, from new divers to experienced folks. If you would like a mentor or experienced buddy, please PM or e-mail me (Lynne@tsandm.com) so we can make sure we have enough mentors to go around.
