We're hoping to take some OW students to Nubble Light tomorrow, but there's a NW wind predicted.

Anyone know the exposure up there?

Thanks!
Eileen

Depending on how long it's been blowing, if the wind is directly from the north it will be rough. There will also be no where to hide from the wind.

If it's more of a westerly wind (coming over the land) it will be better for conditions and you'll probably be able to escape the wind near the water.

Be advised it is raining HEAVILY in this area and has for a few days. That alone is likely to reduce visibility.

You can contact AtlanticAquasports.Com (in Rye, NH) for up-to-date conditions.

Thanks for all the info. I'm in the tippy-top of Mass, so I know how much rain there has been. Visibility is going to be an issue, that's for sure. The tides won't be in our favor either. I was just checking to see if we had two strikes against us, or three. Maybe a nice protected cove will be best.
