Well sports fans, the waters are getting cooler. A couple of weeks ago I dove Nubble and it showed 57 at depth, last night down to 52 at around 47 feet. Met up with Dave and Walt around 5 and in the water around 5:30 - 5:45, just as it was starting to get dark. Had a bit of daylight to see by but switched to lights by the time we hit the point and got deeper. Went out around the other side of the point and back for about 45 minutes on the first dive. Mike and Bill showed up from Aquatic Escapes so we waited for them to get their gear ready and then did a second dive much like the first, out around the island point. Saw a few decent sized lobsters, one under a rock that was pretty big, a few crab and that's about it. The bioluminesence of small plankton was evident again and is always fascinating to me! Anyway, two good dives -- Dave, Walt and I went to Ruby's for bite to eat afterwards then back to school (Durham) for me and home for them. Fran's boat dive for Sunday afternoon was cancelled due to weather (darn it). I had to do yard work instead......
