Well since I can't get any one to Ft. Stark tomorrow, and since the wind will now be out of the west and good conditions maybe at Nubble, I am going to change my plans. If the weather cooperates and the ocean behaves on the east side of the island I am going to do a swim around with occasional dives to ocean bottom to check depth and scenery along the way down. I plan to arrive at 10:30. If anyone wants to join me you're welcome but you need to be good at surface swimming long ways and you should bring a small pony. If conditions are not good because of t-storms :zap:in the forecast I will be sticking to my Ft. Stark plans.

Wish I could join you! :(

I'll look forward to your dive report if you do a Nubble swim-around. (Hint, hint.....)

I plan to do a similar dive there sometime this summer, but most likely with a single deep segment on the east side.

Done the east side before? Any interesting rock formations?

Good luck! :)

My cousin and I swam around the island last summer. there is very interesting scenery on the ocean side. we hugged the island so we weren't far from it, there is a nice rock chute to swim through and a couple nice craters I guess you could call them.. Will be looking forward to your dive report if you end up going..
