I love drift diving @ swansea, it is a great place.

It is off Palm Beach which is a Northern Sydney suburbs beach. Bacisally it is where Sydney ends and the Central Coast begins but it is a distance from Terrigal. Palm beach is @ the end of the F3 and turn off to the northern beaches, so pretty much no to that question.

Mate do you mean a guided shore dive of Terrigal Haven? If so you wouldnt need a a guided tour as it is a bay. You go up one side with the wall on your right, turn around and head back with the wall on your left.
Or are you wanting a guided tour as your a solo diver?

If you are wanting to dive the cave then I am not sure if they do or do not do guided tours for that. The cave is only for calm weather as well.

Might be a better shot to call them.

Dived Swansea a number of time!

I'm going to dive the Valliant next week,is it any close to Terrigal?

Well this is my first post so hello people :)

yeah i would have suggested around swansea too. All around Moon island or anywhere between moon island and caves beach. just watch out for the fishermen dumping bucket loads of burley while fishing. I remember Mates and I would swim across the channel on bodyboards and worry about the sharks :P

Welcome to Scuba Board Rob.

Swansea is a great drift dive and lots to see under the bridge. I have not dived near Moon Island or Caves beach. Anything good to see there?

Advocaat, best to dive the Valiant out of Palm Beach or Ettalong. I dont think anyone would travel from Terrigal - too far. Best to dive the Val on a run in tide as it is just off the mouth of the Hawkesbury River and does get the silt on a falling tide. Visibility has been good for the last couple of weeks to about 30 metres so the Val should be OK at 25m. Its a really good dive for a reasonably shallow wreck but I really recommend the Birchgrove Park in due course. Its the best wreck on the middle NSW coast.

Valiant was great(20m viz)!I will recommend to everyone to go diving with Bob from Pro Dive Central Coast,he is very nice person and still very professional! We had great time with buddies from my dive club!

Drift diving Swansea is great on the outward tide, and under the bridge I find nice at slack tide.

Glad to hear you had a great dive on the Valiant.
