Hello Lobsta Divahs!

I'll be in New England until Monday... and the only things we have to do are Friday night and Saturday morning deliveries. Plus, Monday in the shop. I have no gear with me and I'm sure it's still far too cold for my wimpy self- so here I am with time off, dive sites to explore and an inability to take advantage!

Oh- the torture!

You are looking at this all wrong. This is a great excuse to buy a new set of gear! :D

Rent gear.

have to 2nd the gear rental idea

renting shouldnt run you too much (50 or 60) and if they rent semi-dry suits you might be business if you are not dry suit certified. For me it's still a little cold for standard wetsuit diving. but folks have been getting out on dry suit dives.

butyou could try Rhode Island waters they are usually a few degrees warmer than north of cape cod

good luck

I was fine diving wet in 47 degree water for 35 minutes. I did only one dive and my max depth was 30fsw.

this is DUI DOG days weekend at stage fort park, great chance to try diving dry.

I am sitting at the Wal-Mart off exit 47 on I 95 in Danvers right now!

Anyway- I guess I should have read this thread yesterday! http://www.dui-online.com/dog_stagefort_2006.html
I might have been able to make plans to get over there. As it is, today would be my only day (tomorrow we'll be over in Warren, Mass) and I'm sitting here at this Wal-Mart not too far away waiting around in an 18-wheeler!

Bummer. I was out there this morning helping get everything set up, and will be back this afternoon. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Yeah, yeah, rub it in a little!

If my husband were into diving (or even remotely understood my love of it!) I'd probably be calling a cab right now- but as is, we have some things planned for this afternoon (okay, okay- we're going to Home Depot- big deal!) and it probably wouldn't go over very well if I just disappeared!

Although... I AM tempted!
