Glad to hear all is going to be well. However, you might want to do a little investigating into why you ascended so fast so you can avoid it in the future. You stated that you tried dumping your bc but continued to ascend. If you were only 20 minutes into your dive, I assume you were not low on air and therefore exceedingly buoyant from that. Did you not have adequate weight on your belt? When you dumped your bc were you upright? Sometimes if you are parallel with the ocean bottom and you dump your air, some will be trapped inside and be unable to get out. Also, did you end your dive and that time or did you re-descend?
