Sorry, I'm a bit sweaty after running around with my Bouvier Des Flanders, "Murphy."

I joke about color because, well, I'm sarcastic about just about everything. Recreational shops often joke about "color being your most important equipment decision" which would be a good joke except they rarely give the new diver any other information than the joke. That’s the beauty of boards like this, divers can see the pros and cons of different equipment from folks that aren’t financially tied to the equipment in any way.

Actually my favorite color is yellow. Favorite color combination is black and yellow. I’d be a good “Max Headroom” If you go to my profile page you’ll see my drysuit which is black and neon yellow which, as I’ve mentioned elsewhere was a mistake. In a cave (or just night diving looking at the pretty fishes) you don’t want to destroy other diver’s night vision. If someone illuminates such a bright color as neon yellow, it trashes your night vision. Next time (not in the forseeable future) I’ll get a black-on-black for that reason.

What can I say...I had a bad day at work, was over sensitive and jumped to the defensive. After I re-read this thread (over the nice, calm weekend ) I realized I misread what you wrote, and I apologize for jumping on you. (I'm normally a very easy-going person...really!! )

So, you were in Saipan, huh? Small world! I think its changed a bit since you were there. They have a REAL airport now (with a runway and everything!) and even have their own Hard Rock Cafe (anyone want a t-shirt?) But, the tank (I think its a tank) is still sitting out in the bay. I haven't made it up there yet..keep trying to talk my boss into sending me on a "working vacation", but so far no go.

I've seen pictures from the Grotto, and everyone says it is great! I want to dive it, but ONLY if I can find some strong man to carry my tank back up all those stairs! Or, they put in an elevator!! (hehe...I'm kidding...kind of...)

Did you ever make it down to Guam while you were in this neck of the woods?
