Oceanic Delta 4.1 Regulator D.V.T or Aqualung Titan LX ACD. They are both the same price so thats not a factor. So tell me Scuba Folks what do you think?

Oceanic...Oceanic Delta was/is one of the few regs with a 'blessing' from the U.S.Navy for use in Alaskan waters.
In all honesty, you'll probably be happy with either one.

I read that about the delta, but at the same time i read they won by being the lowest/better bid...i dont know if that is true or not but working in goverment myself i see that all the time

My Aqualung Legend ACD Supreme and Legend octo work fine at 4 F (1 C).

Maybe, maybe not... The decision to change regulators was the result of the US Coast Guard losing two divers in cold water.

This may be a case where equipment performance really did matter.

I can see "get the performance" then "now get me a price" but the bragging rights on landing these agencies is huge. Every manufacturer in the test should have been willing to discount to the bare minimum.

Thats true

I haven't tried either, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in breathing performance between them, underwater...my totally unqualified opinion.

I think you may be right about that!
