This was a United States seaplane tender, converted from a destroyer, that was used in WWII. It was known as the USS Bering Strait (AVP-34) during that time until transferred to South Vietnam as Tran Quan Kha in January 1971. She became the Philippine Diego Silang in April 1976 and was decommissioned in June 1985. I was hoping that there was a chance, however small it may be, that someone on the forum might know what ever happened to this ship. Thought that I would give it a shot. Thanks!
