Non diving trip report.

Road trip to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Denver!
My son treated me to the concert. It was great. The tailgating in the parking lot was unbelievable! Shark fins on everthing from a VW Bug to a half million dollar motor home. Grass skirts on men, women, children and even dogs. An English Mastif with a shark fin on his back. I think it was the dreaded licking and slobbering shark! Several partiers even brought their own beach! One had a pool!
The concert was excellent. He played some very old stuff as well as the regulars and a few new songs. He even sang Jolly Man.
It was definately worth the six hour drive and a night in a hotel!

I went to see Jimmy last month on April 22nd. I had a great time. Here is one picture from the tailgating party. DO you have any you can share? Anyone else?

I have just finshed a non dive vacation Vagas, Grand Canyon and Zion Nat park. Must admit I was not looking forward to it (non diving) but was amazed when I saw the GC and Zion I have to go back when I am better prepaed for it. Vagas yawn, the shows were ok but if I never see a slot machine again it will be to soon.

My favorite Buffet tailgating trick is the infamous pickup bed lined with pond liner and turned into a swimming pool....

No Wendy I didn't have a camera. We were walking and were told there would be no cameras allowed inside so I didn't bring one. They did check for cameras so I'd have been screwed. Next time I'll have a car in the lot so I can at least have a camera for the party.
Elvis was there!
