Everything about Brisas was top shelf. I'm not a tequilla drinker but I went downtown to buy some for my daughter-in-law. The man in the store had about 20 brands to choose from.

He explained the different qualities and what to look for in a tequilla. He sold me.

If you get a rest day get some people to rent a car. Drive to the other side of the island where all the surf comes in. It was really fun and a lot of great little restuarants and bars right on the beach. Diffinately not crowded. There are also ruins and a nature perserve. You can get around the entire island and see most everything in a day.

I seem to recall seeing Orendain Gold on the shelf in the main bar. Good Stuff!!! After a few margaritas, though, it doesn't really matter what their using. Cheers!
