Hi there,

I have the opportunity to do one of those discover scuba dives here in Greece tomorrow but I'll be flying back home the the day after tomorrow. Is it safe to do the dive (5 to 6m depth)?

Thanks.

You should be fine. Lifted right off the back of my dive table, "for a single dive within no-decompression limits, a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 12 hours is recommended." At such a shallow depth for a limited amount of time you could probably get away with even less.

yes as alex12_3 said as long as you have a 12 hour break between your DSD and your flight everything should be fine. A DSD has a max Depth of 12 Meters and usually have a maximum bottom time of around 1 hour so you will definitly be diving within the established "no decompression limits(NDL)".... PADI NDL for 12M is 2 hours and 27 minutes....

Enjoy the DSD!!!

Cheers,
Roger
