Excellent discussions going on here thanks!

In response to the above:

I dont skip breathe at all. My breathing pattern is pretty efficient -deep breaths and long full exhalations. I dont think contamination is an issue since I get fills anywhere I am diving. Neither is a contaminated tank an issue, I can use my friends, mine or diveops nitrox tanks, same result. Acsent rate is conservative, controlled and slow.

Im diving this w/e and will not go beyond 1.4, ascend a little slower, and add some additional time on my stop - will let you guys know how it went.

Thanks for the imput!

I forgot to add that I don't have any problems equalizing at all - i swallow and I'm equalized.

this wekend, I'd even try to keep your PPO2 lower than1.3 or 1.2. If it helps, then you know you have a predisposistion to O2 tox problems.:doctor:

but the "headache" was very slight. Maybe Im acclimating slowly? On the bright side, at least these headaches are not crippling that I have to abort dives!

Another intersting thing, for the second time ever, I experienced vertigo at depth. Stopped, hovered, looked at my gauges (but could not focus on the numbers - truth be told, I was kinda amused by the disorientation...at least I knew what it was and didnt panic.) then looked at stationary point till it passed. My buddy had taken us on this submerged road with standing dead trees on either side - very surreal dive :)
