I am weary to get into diving nitrox, yet I am curious to
see what it is all about and learn the physics behind enriched air.
I am a relatively new diver only 65 dives under my belt, although I am
driven to get my advanced cert. I look forward to taking Wreck and Deep
diving through SSI this summer. Has anyone else taken Nitrox with SSI
and really enjoyed it? Hope it is a well rounded class.

I have to confess that I don't understand your first sentence. I am sure you mis-wrote something, but I am not sure what it was.

I am not with SSI, but I am a Nitrox instructor with another agency. The basic physics is pretty simple, really. There can be some math involved in making conversions, but it is basic algebra. With our agency, an in-person class is done in one evening, and it can be done online instead, with only a brief in-person requirement.

I am an SSI Nitrox instrucotr. The Nitrox class is fairly easy and gives you the information you need to safely plan and execute dives using Nitrox. It is a perfect compliment to deep and wreck diving offshore. Here in NC, it is almost mandatory in order to achieve descent bottom time on some of the off shore wrecks. I dive computer would also make an excellent choice for your continuing diving in wreeck and deep environments. Most all new ones allow for Nitrox programming. You are making a wise choice.

Nitrox 101 was Great..

I learned much about Nitrox diving and enriched air nitrox. I can't wait to
put the theory into practice. Have been equipped with an O2 cleaned
steel 100 Nitrox tank new, with which to start my adventures in nitrox.
I am the last of my buddies to get certified in EAN, looking forward to this summer.
Thanks for the input..
