Taking a Nitrox course with a Oceanic VT3,and I am having trouble finding out how to change tanks on the computer.I have tank 1 set up for air,2 set for 32% and 3 set for 36%,now to plan my dive with tank #2 ,I cant seem to find a way to set it for tank #2.
any help would be great. (I know they will show me at course I just like to know befor I go in.Thanks all.

The Gas1, Gas2, Gas 3 on the VT3 are for gas switches during a single dive. You would only be doing this if you were an experienced decompression diver and by your profile it appears you're not. Prior to first dive, set Gas1 to whatever you will be breathing, it doesn't matter what is in Gas2 and Gas3 if you don't switch the computer to it underwater. Once out of the water after your first dive, you can change Gas1 to what you plan to breathe on the second dive. Then you can use the Plan function to see how it affects your NDL's.

The VT3 uses only gas 1 while in plan mode ...... basically gas2 and gas3 are NOT used for plan calculations.

Take the VT3 Online Class.

The VT3 does not provide a menu of three tanks to choose from prior to a dive. You can only start a dive on Gas1 and must be underwater to switch tanks on the computer. On the bright side, if you can't find a hockey puck, just use your VT3...

Thanks all I misunderstood the 3 tanks i.e you set up 3 options and pick the one just befor dive.NOW IT MAKES. Thanks for the help.
