I'm interested to know how they could be too bright? I use 4 of them. for video the brighter the better, especially during the day in tropical waters.

These lights are too wide and powerful for macro video and lack any option for snooting. They are great for shooting wide/portrait but I already have a more powerful set for that application. I fell they offer great value at a low price point.
